The Marshes of Skidaway Island has acquired approximately three acres of land from Skidaway Community Church, marking an important step forward in its plans to expand and enhance services for current and future residents.

This purchase reflects a shared commitment between The Marshes and Skidaway Community Church to support the thoughtful growth and well-being of the Skidaway Island and Savannah communities.

“We are deeply grateful to everyone who helped make this possible and especially appreciative of our partnership with Skidaway Community Church,” said Eric Dudasko, Executive Director of The Marshes of Skidaway Island. “This acquisition positions us to meet evolving needs, including new Memory Care services. while ensuring The Marshes continues to enrich the lives of our residents and neighbors.”

The Marshes is in the early stages of planning for the newly acquired property, which is expected to include the addition of Memory Care residences and related amenities. Skidaway Community Church will soon begin Phase One of a campus redevelopment project focused on creating inviting spaces to welcome neighbors into community and faith.
